Isn't this my decision and not their's?

I don't want to stay in louisiana so i'm moving. I told my friends and family that I wanna not go to college and live on my own in Vegas. (I found a place and got all the money set so dont bother me about that.) they forbid it, but I'm almost 19. I can do this. I know I can. why should they care? its my life? are they right?
 
As a legal adult, it is your decision, but they are probably concerned that by not going to college, you won't be able to support yourself long term.

Sit down with them and ask them why they think you should stay.
