Isn't the legality of Weiner's actions rather moot to whether he should resign?

To me, it's not even that he tried to make fools out of us with such an outrageous lie, but the fact that he sent lewd pictures to strangers.

Doesn't that type of aberrant behavior call into question his fitness to serve his constituents?
 
See.... I have more issue with the lying than the pictures. The pictures were a wrong committed against his family. The lying was an act against the country.

He proved that to further save/further his political career and political agenda, he is willing to go on record and LIE. That is something we should not stand from our elected officials.

It is moot to Democrats. They just see sex and don't care if he broke the law or not, he is ok and should not resign. Next, a Democrat will rape someone and the liberals will cry "It's just sex, and besides, Newt had 3 wifes and cheated on them".
 
David Vitter is still in the Senate, even after he committed ILLEGAL acts, so why should Weiner resign? As I have said in the past, if you want all the liars out of Congress, the halls will echo with silence. Or do you live in a fantasy world in which all other politicians except Weiner never lie?
 
Why not let his constituents decide whether or not he is fit to serve them? If they don't want him, they'll let him know in the next election.
 
given the company he keeps-----deviant adulterers like Bill Clinton, and co... i think he met all expectations. I'm just shocked it was a girl.
 
I will ask him to resign when ALL Republicans and ALL Democrats resign anytime they do something that is scandalous.

Until then this bores me.
 
Whether you like it or not, Weiner is gonna stay in office.

maybe wont' run for reelection.......
but he can serve out his term.

and there's nothing you can do to impeach him. so ha.
