'Waterloo Road' lost me as a viewer when Rachel Mason took over as Head, but now I am hooked again. Absolutely excellent performances by all. Well done team Waterloo Road.
It's a shodow of it's former self but it's doing OK. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's brilliant, though. It's very contrived (but it always has been, I'll give it marks for consistency).
lol course lotsa mad stuff happens in secondary schools. But the way things play out over the course of the day rarely work out the yay they do in WR, plus you spot teachers' bad decisions and their repercussions a mile off. It's incredibly obvious and contrived. I don't think anyone could deny that. But I love it
I still can't seem to like the new head Karen. I've tried to like her, but she's just not likeable to me unlike Rachel.
I do like all the others though so that makes up for it, Ruby's my fav Shame she's leaving after this series.
Im the reverse. I could never take to Rachel. I thought she was cold. I really like Karen. It feels as though she has been there for years. I've taken to Ruby this time to. Was never that struck on her before. I do miss some of the old pupils and Steph, it has to be said.
