Bestman is pretending like its for him. He's not planning on doing what my fiance wants.Fiance said no strippers and his bestman said they will be there.Than fiance told me yesterday,I really do want to go deep sea fishing but anyway he gets to plan the party.Than I told him,ya he gets to plan it,but its your party and that the bestman should plan what you want.
My fiance thinks the party is for the buds.We had a little argument over this yesterday.
Thats what I was thinking Gretchen K.Yea sneaky sneaky. If he really didn't want strippers he would speak up.I don't mind,I love my man.

The Bachelor party is suppose to be what your fiance wants, not what the best man wants! You fiance needs to stand up to the best man and tell him what he wants. Period!

Yes, he should have a say so for his party, but his friends are gonna do what they want to make it like his last hangout night to be single.
Let him have some fun for the night. Because you will have him forever.

Well, technically, the best man plans it, not the groom. (Even though it's for the groom.) But, of course, a good best man will find out what the groom actually wants and then plan accordingly. It is true that often you see best men who plan for the kind of party THEY want. If they are single, they are especially more likely to insist on strippers.

I have also seen many cases where the groom apparently says he doesn't want strippers but they are there anyway. This could be for a few reasons: 1) The groom wasn't forceful enough in insisting NO STRIPPERS 2) The best man ignored the groom and did what he wanted anyway or 3) The groom tells his fiance that of course he didn't want strippers, but he couldn't help it because the best man just went ahead and planned for it and he had no idea.

#3 is pretty common. And unfortunately, the groom isn't always honest about "insisting" no strippers or that he "had no idea." You need to talk to your fiance about what you are both comfortable with. And then the best man should plan for an even that makes the groom happy and comfortable.

ETA: Oh, and if he is telling you this party is for his buds, and not for him, that's an excuse for him to get strippers "because his friends want them." Sorry, but that's how it is in most cases.
