isn't science neutral?

how can someone from a science-minded bias take a position against religion? the creation of religions just seems to be something human beings do. would you rail against a beaver for creating a dam? they are both just things different animals do. it seems to go against the ideals of science to become emotionally invested in what you observe in the world.
free spirit: what's really ironic is that i never mentioned "atheists" once in my question, only "those that come from a science-minded bias". So it seems that YOU are the one who can't distinguish between different things.
