Isn't it unfair the uneducated people can get jobs while educated people can't?

I'm a 28 year old male from the Los Angeles,CA area.

I have a mild learning disability, mild CP and mild Touretes. This one doctor thinks I may have Aspergers syndrome.

Five years ago I recieved a BA in Radio-TV-Film from a University.

For the past 5 years that I have been out of college finding and keeping jobs has been a large challange. This is mainly due to descrimination.

I was in Portland,Oregon 2 weeks ago and met a 40 year old woman at a coffee store. She claims that she has Aspergers and people are mean to her.

Unfortunatley she stopped going to school after 8th grade.

Even though she has no high school diploma she has been able to get jobs without hassle and stay at jobs for 3-5 years.

At her last job which she had for 3 years she made between $ 750-$850 per week and she also got a $300 monthly bonus at the end of the month.

At age 26 she had never had a job before and applyed and was offered a job at an alarm bussiness as an alarm dispatcher. She lied about having a high school diploma. They made her supervisor at the alarm dispatch company.

After 5 years at the alarm company went out of bussiness. She then applied for a job at Wells Fargo Credit card collection services where she earned $15 per hour. The reason she left Wells Fargo was for a better opportunity.

This really upsets me!

Often I go to 100 job interviews and the interviewer notices my differences right away. Many employers don't take into consideration that I have a college education.

Many employers percieve me as retarded and incapable.

Interestingly the hotel front desk manager at the hotel in Portland had a masters degree and for years has been unable to get a better paying job.

At a Portland bookstore called Powells some cashiers have graduate degrees.

Why is this happening in our country?

This woman worked at Merryl Lunch when she made $850 per week with $300 monthly bonuses.
I have never been able to get a job that pays above minimum wage. The job is usually part time as well.
This woman was also given a free Trimet bus and rail pass every month from her employer.

She has health insurance through her job.

I have been unable to be hired at a minimum wage job.
