Isn't it true that every great civilization has to come to an end?

The dinosaurs, although not anything like humans, came to an end. The Egyptians during 100 B.C. and beyond lost their empire to the Romans, etc. The Mayans and their civilization disappeared. And many others. People today act like nothing is gonna happen to us and that we can just keep living not worrying about anything except the norm.
I meant to say...will come to an end...sorry.
 
Everything changes and nothing stays the same forever, no matter how big or small, important or insignificant, whether we want it to or not.
Unenlightened, most cling to the idea that they have control.
