Isn't it my right to have an SUV or Cadillac because others have one?

I mean if it is a right for everyone here to have health insurance according to the House of Representatives, then why is it not a right for everyone to have the car they want?

And shouldn't everyone else pay for my car just like I will have to do with the House Health Bill?
Zap, but you said affordable! That is not what I want and what the democrats in the House want. They want all of us who earn to pay for health insurance for everyone who doesn't. So why can't you pay for my SUV just like you will be doing for my health insurance?
Rivers, who said anything about health CARE? We are talking about health INSURANCE! That is clearly not apples to apples. Everyone has the right to take care of themselves. We each have a God-given right, freedom, to take care of our bodies. What we are told now is that we have the God-given RIGHT to have someone else pay for the possibility that we may get severly sick. I don't recall anywhere in my Bible or any other religious doctrine where God said that government has to take care of us because we are to stupid to do so for ourselves. Can you provide those passages please?
 
When I was in grade school, they gave me a trophy for finishing 5th in a race. There was only five people running. I didn't feel good about it....but I think I was supposed to.
 
How come it's not my right to have the NFL Ticket when other people purchase it? How come it's not my right to have high speed internet? How come it's not my right to have a personal jet? Why isn't my right to have sex with any one I want regardless of their opinion?

If you really follow the logic, the Caddy and the SUV are safer.

Therefore, if everyone were in one, they would be less likely to be a victim of a car wreck requiring long term health care and physical rehabilitation.

Buying everyone a Caddilac Escalade would save money on the health care bill, stimulate General Motors and make us all equal like Barry wants.
 
Nope,, Not everyone will have the same health insurance. People like me who work and make good money can buy a premium policy. People who make less will end up with a bare-bones plan.

So basically I would have the Cadillac and you will have the Yugo.
