Isn't it interesting how religion is, and always has been, based on little...

...more than culture? Around 3/4 of the global population will simply carry on the beliefs of their parents religiosity into adulthood. Child indoctrination is highly psychological, but even if not diretly indoctrinated, if born into a culture with a strong religious identity the constant influx of religious archetypes on the developing mind can have the same psychological affect.

Religious demographics can change or migrate, but this is due to cross cultural influence, and is useful only in an academic discussion.

It's funny seeing people who are so adament about their beliefs, when it is almost always their cultural beliefs. If it's the Middle East, they are most likely Muslim, Japan- Shinto, Thailand-Buddhist, India-Hindu, United States-Christian.

If any one of these people who were arguing so adamantly about their beliefs was born into one of those other areaa, they would almost certainly, according to very obsersable statistics, be of that cultures religion.

I find it rather comical myself.
Comical only in the sense that since the early poly and pantheistic religions humans have been killing each other over their hopelessly superficial religious views instilled in them y their culture upbringing.

It's true. When in Rome... and besides, the dishonor of betraying one's religion in those countries are far more worse than it is here.
