Gigantic government, lies, and unparalleled corruption. I am sure that is exactly what our forefathers had in mind.
Go ahead and remain partisan. If our founding fathers saw what either party has become they would be looking for another revolution.
 
We would be well served to realize collectively that the idea that is America is worth supporting and defending.Given that, it is obvious that we have not evolved as a species for a very long time. Sure we have progressed through many centuries and life has gotten easier from the changes. But the heart of man is consistently stilted by a desire to matter.
 
I agree. I also think it's hilarious when people talk about a 3rd party candidate like it's a magic bullet.

"If only we had a 3rd party candidate, like Ron Paul. All our problems would be solved!"

Bull. Under our current campaign finance system anyone who is able to rise to the position of president is already in the pocket of big business.

If we want real change the common man must be able to run for president with the same credibility and financial backing as the political elite.

"If elections caused real change they'd be illegal."
 
We should all be sticking together to get all the corrupt politicians out of Washington and state government. What a lot of people don't seem to see is that they are all the same. They will vote for special interest groups or lobbyists before they will vote for what we want.
I don't know about any of you but I am fed up. Bush did start us into this mess but Obama was the one who was going to improve it and all he is doing is spending money like it was water. I didn't like what Bush was doing and I just don't see that Obama has done anything to change the outcome of where we are heading.
 
LOL. I'm not sure what our founding fathers had in mind either. It's like everyone is different... even if we don't agree with one another, why do we have to bash one another?
