Hillary Clinton and staff said that during her campaign, Fox news treated her the most fair of all the cable networks.

In addition, their ratings show just how fair and balanced they are. It is not only Republicans who watch and enjoy Fox news. It is also independents and fair-minded democrats who appreciate Fox. If they were not balanced, their ratings would be similar to CNN or worse MSNBC.

I have heard people other than Republicand say that Fox is more fair than any other network. Most of their audience is probably conservative, Republican, Independents and Libertarians. It also has the highest ratings than any of the other networks combined....they must be doing something right, wouldn't you agree?

i hate to tell you that you're wrong. i'm an independent and i think fox is fair and balanced. i've also seen posts to a similar question like yours where dems said they also considered them fair and balanced. during the campaign an independent poll showed that fox ran 40 negative stories on both mccain and obama. that seems both fair and balanced to me as opposed to the 3 or 4 to 1 ratio of the other networks. their ratings show more than just repubs. are watching them as well. when you beat the other cable news networks combined in viewership you are either doing something right or offering the public something they want.

What you don't get is Fox booking guests that agree with what they are saying (Olberman and maddow to name just two) Fox has people come on their programs to defend their beliefs and have a two sided debate.

That is where it is fair and balanced, MSNBC have easy guests who agree with everything they say, therefore not getting a balanced view, that's not fair.
