Isn't it funny how the duck characters always loved the most?

I love all three characters more than the main characters and I noticed a lot of the fans do. Is it cuz of there anger? Personality? Greed? Insaneness? I mean I love Bugs Bunny/Mickey Mouse/Bugs and Babs Bunny too but I just adore the ducks more. Crazy right?
 
While I do like Daffy better than Bugs ( I prefer his more "daffy" antics over his more negative personality traits though), I can't say that I like Donald or Plucky more than Mickey and Buster/Babs.

Honestly, I can't stand Plucky. He's a badly done clone of Daffy (when Daffy's at his worst), and he lacks all the appeal Daffy has to me.

Donald's just kind of there.
 
It's probably the reactions of the characters. It's funnier to see a character with a short temper react to something than it is a sweet, kind, or quick-minded character to be in the same situation.

On the other hand, it's a refreshing feeling having a quick-minded character react negatively to a situation, allowing the audience to see their vulnerable side. Which is why I LOVE how Bugs acts in "Falling Hare".

However, seeing those sides are rare and usually require a great director to properly bring out those emotions, so seeing a funnier reaction coming from Daffy or Donald is more common.

However, I myself don't prefer Donald or Plucky over the rest of the gang. In fact, I'm more partial to Goofy as I love the classic narrator-told stories he's always in.
 
I know my brother likes the duck characters because ducks are his favorite animals. I have a hard time deciding who my favorite Looney Tune/Disney character/Tiny Toon is
 
I can think of dozens of Donald cartoons, yet I can't recall any Mickey cartoons, unless he's starring with Donald and Goofy together. Those ones were the best.
