Isent it weird how suddenly people started dropping like flies when the healthcare

debate started? I mean, as far as I can tell things were pretty good. Survival rate was high for most bad illnesses like cancer, heart attack, ect. And sure people paid a little extra. But hey, we were healthy and had a really good life expectancy.

Then all of a sudden Obama started on about how we need a public option... Suddenly people began during left and right on the news! Hospitols began to illegaly turn away patients. Life expectancy droped..

What happened? Is it cause we scared the doctors? Did insurance agencies jack up their prices 500%? What could it be that is causeing this change?

Is it cause the TV box says you need it? Is it cause you brainlessly fallow what it says without thinking?

Nah couldent be...
Edit: SunShine. I refuse to take the NYT and MSNBC as crediable sources. Both swing so far to the left it would make Obama seem conservative.
 
You know, I'll bet that if you canvassed every Pseudo-Liberal who says we NEED this plan because people are dying left and right because they don't have insurance, you'd find maybe ten out of 10,000 who actually know someone who died from it. It's like us baby boomers who suddenly think we have Alzheimers because it's all over the news and we can't remember where we put our car keys. You're absolutely right, people panic over what the tv says, instead of taking the time to actually do some research before they run around screaming.
 
You are living a dream caused by the the right wing hatred. The AMA agrees with the reform as well as the nurses union and the drug companies. Start thinking for yourself and stop believing the hate and lies the right is spreading. They want it to fail so Obama fails and they can pick up some votes in 2010 and 2012. That's called putting their outdated party before America.

It is complicated and Americans are lazy.

People always act negatively to what they don't understand.

That is the reason that the Republicans are working so hard at spreading lies and myths about it.

In the end, however...what people will remember is that the Republicans lied to them (yet again).
