Is ZLauncher the best launcher?

Is a Ford the best car or Chivas Regal the best Scotch? :) Depends on what you like and want. I use zLauncher but there are many others that swear the Silver Screen, MegaLauncher, or a whole slew of other launchers are better. They all have free trial versions. I suggest you download a few of the most popular and give them a try.
 
I have purchased and used Launchem, Megalauncher, ZLauncher, Hi-Launcher and a number of button hack launchers for my Tungsten T. I have tried each one (latest versions of each) and always seem to come back to Zlauncher as the most powerful and useful of them all although Megalauncher is not far behind.

ZLauncher beats Megalauncher 5.1 by having a feature that enables you to run apps from your SD Card via a shortcut in the launcher. Zlauncher also allows more customisation than Megalauncher to make it look how you personally like it.

Megalauncher also uses a lot more RAM. About 350kb more when you have themes added.
 
Where can I get more skins? I don't like the ones that come with it. And I can only use one of the 5 or 6 files that came with it anyway, because I have to use the hi-res one.
 
Of course not. As everyone who's anyone knows, SilverScreen III is the best. :D

I know, I know...it's highly subjective. We re-hash this topic every so often, but it never gets old saying SilverScreen is the best. ;)

18 Launchers listed, and TealLaunch not amongst them.

What a joke! Not your fault of course - thanks for the chance to cumulatively review several in one spot, but for them not to include TealLaunch is a SERIOUS oversight on THEIR part - please believe me, it's the best. Very powerful and not "in your face."

I'm not biased - I just believe I'm right on this one! Trust me -- try it along with TealMaster (free trial) and see the difference; that is unless you INSIST on having Donald Duck launch your calendar app . . . .

67k for TLaunch plus 2k database, 88k for TMaster = TOTAL 157k!! Ability to launch around 30 apps without EVER touching stylus to screen (buttons only), hundreds if stylus is used . . and handles DA's (desktop accessories) plus gives you ability to use certain other "hacks" under OS5 emulation. Doesn't even take up space with an icon on your launcher - resides under TMaster.
