Is your bank account balance normal to discuss in every day conversation?

I have a friend that's a girl, and she's confusing me. We are friends but not real close. We were casually talking while she was working at her computer, and she said Oh I've only got $20 left on my credit card! (Note, we have a playful teasing relationship, we also pick at each other and people tell us we fight like a married couple - we're both playing, and we know that we're just playing) I said What are you buying girl!? Then she tells me the exact figure of her bank account right to the cents! I thought that was weird. She knows I have a pretty nice chunk of change, but I've never given a real figure. I kinda think she likes me, and I like her. We've talked about a lot of stuff before, such as some of her family skeletons. What do you think?
 
She's trying to get you to give her some money. I don't think it's appropriate to discuss your bank balance in regular conversation, actually, I think the only people who should know an account balance are the people whose names are on it.
