Is your 3G slow after upgrade to OS4? Please vote.

Sorry DrJPB, my 3g work fine after update model mb046ll but after jailbreak and enabled multi tasking was dead slow, perhaps different models are getting activated on update.
 
i have one 8gb and is very slow but i did unlocked a 16gb and works fine do you think if restore and disable multitasking it will be faster than now
 
i did not try and i unlock only three 3G v.r3.1.3 by downgrade them by fuzzy and install ultrasnow and unlocked successfully

YES MY 3G AFTER RESTOR TO 4 FROM 3.1.2 VERY SLOW ....SETTING NOT OPEN...also kills the battery quicker than before aswell
 
Stop SPAMMING solution is :

DISABLE MULTITASKING


After that check if its SLOW or NOT!! tested with 5 iPhones after Clients COMPLAINTS about slow SOFT but when remove multitasking NO one CAME again!!!

And it was MENTION officially that multitasking was not MADE for 3G but 3Gs and greater than !!
 
From your post, it seems you are happy with the upgrade of OS4, (normal behaviour of you iPhone 3G).

hmm, it seems that MB series may have some hardware difference than MC ones. Also can you please tell wheather you enable Multitasking or not?

Let's see some more models and there results.
 
ya i also update my 3g iphone ios 4 now its slow and some time hang

but u see one thing now its working you-tube

its good thing and one is also its sound some improve
 
It's very slow & I got black display!! Restarted phone, solved... but still very slow!!
 
Upgrated my 3GS and it's way faster than before.

It even fix a bug witch i had with 3.1.3 firmware when after dissconnect from wifi can't make or receive calls and had to put it in plane mode or to take off the sim card .

The battery isn't drain so fast like before .

I should mention i don't jailbreaked so far.

I did upgrade my iphone 3G 16g but it is slow SLOW and i do not like iT AT ALLLLLLLLL
 
I dont know for what needed model?
But anyway MB496FD.

Don't worry, a guide is comming soon to solve it (multitasking enabled with normal speed results).

3G 16G MB496X, IOS4(8A239), Modem Firmware 05.13.04 factory unlock, the phone lag considerably after installing the multitasking and home wallpaper during jailbreak. The free memory is about 7MB. I had to disable the home wallpaper thus increasing the memory to almost 40MB. The phone seems okay now, run smoothly.
