Is Yamaha Raptor 700 too big?

Ive had a couple dirt bikes and quads in the past 125's and 250's but i want to movee up to something that ill be able to grow into and keep for a while and ive seriously been considering the yamaha raptor 700, i was just wonder if it might be a little too much im about 6 foot 220lbs and i want a powerful but not a scary quad, so tell me if im making a good decision or recommend some other options
