Is what olive garden's doing legal?
I am a waitress at an Olive Garden in California and they've recently changed how we take our breaks. As employees, we are legally entitled to half an hour breaks every 6 hours, so now what they're doing is having us come in a half hour early, take our break right away, then stay for up to 8 hours. Unfortunately, I'm assuming they've found a loophole. I feel like those half hour breaks are for a reason....
