okay, me and my boyfriend have been together 14 months now, last year it wasnt that important we saw each other on christmas day cos we'd only been together 2 months, however this year its quite important to me.
my family invited my boyfriend round for boxing day evening, as we're having our christmas dinner then, not christmas day, but his mum wouldnt let him cos she's invited family round for that day (which i understand if hes got to see his family) but i cant even see him on christmas day either, not even for just an hour to give him his presents.. and i said to him "they have to understand we're at least gonna wanna see each other for an hour" (cos my mum and dad understand) and i do understand that he has to see his family, cos i want to see mine, but i wanted to see him for at least an hour too.. its just his mums had him at christmas for 19 years (hes 20, im 18) and it would just be one hour he wouldnt be there.. and he'll always be her son, so she'll have many more christmas's with him too. i dont know. am i being unreasonable and expecting too much?
