Is Virgin Media a good service and value for money?

I currently have sky+ but I am interested in Virgin medias package that includes all the channels I use. I can also get upto 20MB downloads and calls for a lot less than I am paying now.

Is it any good? ie is the service that Virgin provide reliable, do they have good customer service and how easy is it to switch too.

I'm with Virgin, and have nothing but praise for them. Their broadband is amazing, I can download 3Gb worth of data in 3 hours P2P, I can play on my Xbox360 and the other half browse the net at the same time without affecting each other at all, ping times of 10ms, compared to 30-50ms with copper wire.

Things start getting expensive when you start adding Sky Movies and Sky Sports, but otherwise it's a great service, helplines are answered almost immediately, set up instructions are easy, if you don't have a cable terminal in your house, they will install one for £30, AND turn up when they say they will. I love them, and won't go back to anyone else.
