Is this the real reason they decided to fake the moon landings? Apart from the fact that I think the technology did not exist at the time. But was the costly war in Vietnam the main reason?
Also many people say that proof that the moon landings were real is because Russia never protested that they were fake. But I would say that the fact that Russia never went to the moon themselves is a proof that the moon landings were fake seeing Russia had just as much technology as the Americans regarding space and in fact beat the US in going into space. So why would they not go to the moon too?
