altruistic in the notion of protecting other people (ignoring any personal protection) ?
altruism has been observed in nature in many species,
altruism then may be considered as an objective action of particular behaviours, but how does the use of altruism stand as a defense of vaccination ?
it seems that behaviours that can be categorised as altruistic are subjective.
The end point may be considered objectively as altruistic (protecting others) but the method is open to subjective interpretation (vaccination).
