My g/f has recently become involved with selling Usana products. The Usana people claim their products are pure, with no additives. They are also a rather expensive product.
People are encouraged to become involved with the Company, selling the product with the potential to earn vast amounts of money. I recently went to a meeting with my g/f as a guest; & the focus seemed to be on money making. My g/f doesn't have to work because she's supported by her x-husband & has income from investments.; yet she's starting to be gung-ho about this new venture. Also, she's talking about the money-making potentials. Buying a "business" with Usana isn't the big deal as it sounds. The money making comes from the branching off of sales, i.e. you sell something, I'll benefit, the one about me does too, etc.
I'm wondering though, is Usana really about improving health, or are they mostly focused on the money factor??
My g/f also sent her sons in England a Usana "business"., but they've done nothing with it. They have the product, but haven't sold anything. In other words, they have the 'right' side, and must do something with the 'left side.(sell).
This whole thing with my g/f is beginning to make me nervous. I wouldn't want her time used up with a passion for more money. I'd appreciate anything suggested.
