Is University of Surrey (for MBA) one of the best Unis in UK?

According to the League Tables, University of Surrey is ranked 33rd. But people around me seem to have heard alot more about University of Surrey in terms of its reputation and studies in general.
Do you think I should follow the general reputation or the specific tables which might vary every year?
For example, Birmingham is ranked 22nd! Its a good school as we all know, but seems controversy with regards to the environment (chavs, crimes rates, .i mean not very prestigous).
- what do u think of Surrey in the business field (is it highly reputable till now)
 
All you need to do is visit the Uni and see if you think you'd like to live there. Students are over-concerned with a university's reputation. This is irrelevant, you make your time there a success. All the universities cover the similar material, in each there are some good teachers some bad and I don't believe employers care very about where you study.

All that matters is that you find the environment convivial.
