i've heard tons and tons about how great meyers twilight books are and im interested in reading, my only question is if it's a good read for males

Well it depends on who you are. I love twilight but of course i am a girl. It is a romance so if you like Romances I think you will like the books. Also some guys I have talked to think that Stephenie Meyer ruined vampires, but I think she made them better. Most people think of coffins and blood when they hear the word vampires but most of the vampires in twilight are good and try not to kill. So I think that everyone should read it, but I know a lot of guys won't and even some girls won't but I think you should at least give it a chance before you say you hate it. But like i said it depends on the kind of guy you are as to whether or not you will like it. So I hope you read it!!!!

it is i'm a dude and i read all the books the first sort of isn't but the second and the last are fitful for guys.
