Is toyota celica 2000 a good car for a teenage girl?

As with any car you are considering buying, have a reliable mechanic completely check out the vehicle ( especially an older car ) to see what needs repair now, and what might need fixing later on..Toyotas are known for their reliability - what is the mileage? Did it have regular service ? Does it burn oil or any other obvious sign of repair ?
 
I would say Yes, Celica is a sweet car for a girl and your only 16.

I'm planning to buy a 1994 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo when i get my green P's which is another 3 years if the government doesn't change the rules.

If you ever sat in the car youll know its very low and hard to see over the dash and out the windows. Considering the girl is small and inexperienced it would not be the safest decision
