Ok, So while I was in the United States, I signed up for Tmobile. Now that I moved to Puerto Rico, I moved all my tmobile stuff here, which has different plans, and I got a new number and payed $80 to switch. I fell behind on the tmobile bill to about $230. Ok first, Tmobile in Puerto Rico will call you 1 time if you dont have it paid and suspend the service until you pay $78. Thats the end of it.
I Then get a paper from a collection place from Tmobile UNITED STATES, not puerto rico, saying to pay the $230. I call them and tell them I live in Puerto Rico and my stuff is delt with here, they blew that off. I first talked to someone saying that I have to pay $540.00 for cancellation and that my account has already been canceled. I talked to another person that says I have to pay 230 dollars by March 28 or it will go up to $310, but my account was not all the way canceled. and they would cancel me without me saying that I want to cancel. Im not sure what to do. They are forcing money out of me that I dont have! I set up a $10 payment plan, but they want me to use a credit card to pay it, which I decided to go to the tmobile place here and pay it when I have the money. Not really sure if I should report this? I mean, Im not sure why the US has anything to do with my phone service in Puerto Rico.
