is this why it's worrying so many people?

the main reason i look into the 2012 garbage is so i can sleep at night, honestly. i get pretty paranoid about that crap when i hear the slightest bit of "evidence" even though they have nothing to back it up. and the other reason i look into it is because i just want to try to wipe all the bullshit off the subject and find some truth.

anyway, do you think the 2012 thing is more..uhh "scarey" and more believable than the other prophecies, because of all our technological advancements? because it gets spread through media and internet so much quicker now? just kinda wondering.

thanks again
hey umm buddy-"blah blah" i actually kinda keep to myself about it, i'm not insane, idiodic, nor ignorant. i do have a bit of an imagination and paranoid "ora" i guess you could say.. thanks for the thought though.

2012 crap is alive because of people like you. think about this, if it were true, then the predictions are true and then there is nothing we can do (otherwise the predictions were false and the whole thing is false.) now if we cant do nothing, does it really help knowing what is going to happen?

The possibility that we might be hit by an asteroid is not relevant to whether or not Nibiru exists. I do a lot of work on the asteroid impact danger, as you can see on my website . I also can't promise that you will live through December 2012; you might be hit by a truck. But I can say with confidence that Nibiru doesn't exist. Remember what Nibiru is said to be: a planet (or brown dwarf) with a 3600 year period, known to the ancient Sumerians, that will pass between the Earth and the Sun in 2012 and is already easily seen from the South Pole. That is flat-out false. If there were such an object, astronomers would know about it and have been tracking it for years. Thus "Nibiru" is a lie, independent of other things that might happen like a hit by an asteroid (or a truck).
I don’t understand why people don’t accept that Nibiru does not exist. You must want very much for this object to be real, although I can’t see why. But please accept the truth, that Nibiru is a hoax, linked to a religious cult, and having nothing to do with science. But perhaps some of you will need to wait until 4 years to see that nothing happens in 2012 when this object is supposed to fly close to Earth.
