So after many long months of crushing hard on my best guy friend, he finally asked me out. I, of course, said yes. Ever since then something has seemed off with him. Whenever we text or IM he doesn't really try to carry on a conversation and he seems somewhat bored. I try to come up with new things to talk about, but he doesn't seem interested and sometimes he doesn't respond. Before we started dating he would initiate the conversations most of the time and he would always have something to talk about, but he's almost the complete opposite now. I have asked him about it before and he said he truely does like me, but do you think he really means that? I've only been in one other serious relationship and we would talk all the time, so what's so different this time? I really like this guy and I want things to work out because I would hate to lose him, so what should I do?
Is this weird or am I just being paranoid?
