is this weird??? I dont know!!!!!!???

ok, i have an 18 year old niece who i love to death! she is so adorable, funny, smart and we have so much fun together. she is a totally normal teenage girl, social, likes to shop and pamper herself, VERY girl, and she's a vegetarian. I still love her, but i'm just curious, she just got a laptop for her birthday and she downloaded the sims 3 computer game on it. she lives alone in an apartment away from home, working as a nanny. and when she's in her apartment and she likes to play the sims. if you knew a normal 18 year old girl that did that what would you think? is that weird? is she a little too old for that? i don't know what kind of game it is, so i'm just wondering because i was kind of surprised when she told me that she was doing that the other day when i called her. your thoughts?
 
well i bet she doesnt play it all day
its just one of those games that get your mind off of things...like school, work...thhings that cause stress
its like one of those games where make a family and u make them do things....so shes probably just bored and wants to see what she can do to pass time/relax
 
It's not weird. That's what she likes to do. You said yourself she is sociable...I would think it might be a problem if that is all she does, and is unsociable, and it's starting to affect her life in a negative way...which it probably won't.

She is fine...oh, and there are many adults who still play video games (I'm not one of them, but I know a few that at over 25 and still excited when a new xbox design comes out).
