Is this weird.....friend question?

So i have this friend and we used to be really close but were not really anymore. But i Absolutelyy love her parents sooo much, they mean so much to me. I go over to her house just to see her parents cuz there so cool and fun to be around. To be totally honest I dont even really like this girl thats my friend that much, shes actually kinda weird, but i try to keep close with her so I can see her parents. My parents are also really good friends with her parents and we go on vacation together.

Is this really weird?
Has this ever happend to anyone else?
Were both 17, if that helps
and Ive known their family 10 years.
 
funny. no its not weird. people find other people's parents to be cool because theyre not your parents! its normal. but if you dont like the girl and youre doing this, then yeah, youre weird for pretending to be her friend. that's messed up!
