Is this true?

I was going to say the same thing. Everyone is saying the same thing in different ways. I might as well add to it!

My Curve 8320 on T-Mo sends pictures and other media fine using MMS messages. Also, maybe you should tell your friends to get BlackBerries and you can send using BlackBerry Messenger and not even worry about the carrier! (i think)

In order to send MMS on a BB you will need to call Tmobile and asked them to activate the Blackberry Enabler feature.

It's free...and it will allow you to send MMS. Reason why they can't send pictures is because it requires a data plan...Blackberry Enabler overrides that...

Blackberry Enabler is for people with out a data plan...for example, people who are on AT&T with no data plan can not send or view MMS from their BB. Happens to my friend.

??? MMS goes through the carrier's messaging plan, not the blackberry data plan. So you would be able to send MMS without a data plan, because they have nothing to do with each other.

Thus says Jonnyxedge
any one on t-mobile can send mms on all the devices that we currebtly handling including the curve, we may need to check out your friends services, she may not have a text bundle and doesn't want it to be charged, or has had the feature blocked. most carriers can send mms but some carriers you can't (ex:sidekick, sidekick color, sidekick 2, sidekick 3 you have to send and recieve mms through email not through mms)
