Is this true? that Toyota is going to post a 40% Loss in third Quarter of 2008?

Just heard last night on BBC America that Toyota Motor Corp is running in loss since fourth quarter 2007.

"Toyota's 28% profit plunge in the fourth quarter of 2007 points to an expected 40% drop in annual profits in 2008"

um, you misunderstood.
40% less profit than they projected.
The company is still making a profit, just less so.
Its totally understandable considering the economy.
Other car companies are in much worse shape.
Ford, GM
 
I haven't heard that. I know we are fixing to buy another Toyota. We already have three Toyotas now. Toyotas are the best, longest lasting vehicles ever. My 1990 Toyota has over 250,000 miles on the original engine and runs like new.
