Is this true, new tmo software for the pearl?

I got a message from tmo this morning stating there was a os upgrade for my device 8100 pearl. I have been checking and so far I have found nothing new. I think its a dm upgrade. Anybody else getting the message.
 
Well all that it says is:

well, ^^ that's more than i can say for ATT - i've never received anything from them on updates for bb (they did once send me a txt for telenav)
 
well, think about it how many pearl users are there. So it would take a while for a automatic text server to send a text to over 1 million people. It has to go through ever account and see if the person is a pearl user.

and second part of this, is that not everyone uses rabroad for information about their phone. I have a friend who just got the message from t-mobile and he never knew about it. So there is alot of people who still dont know about it and are just finding out about the upgrade.
