Is this too intimate for a friend date?

To me she's just a friend; I think she has feelings for me, but she says she doesn't. I canceled the last dinner we were suppose to have; so now she's a little upset. To make it up, I told her we could hang out this weekend. She mentioned how nice the weather will be, etc....next thing you know, we have a picnic planned. She's saying how she has this perfect bottle of white wine, etc. I've known her for a few months, but we've gotten close. Do you think a secluded beach picnic is too intimate for friends?

yes. if she didnt have feelings for you she would of gotten upset. if you want your relationship to grow and become couples you both need 2 tell eachother how you feel.

Yeah it kinda is...considering that you think you guys are only friends... if you don't want things to get serious, you might wanna let her know, cuz otherwise she might be expecting something more. I know it's hard to talk about these things, but avoiding could be even worse, unless you can just send the message somehow with your behaviour, and not by saying it out loud. Just don't lead her on if it's a complete 'no' from your side.
