Is this the last year Chrysler is making PT Cruisers?

I have one and planned to get a new one at some point. I love mine! Had it five years and no major problems so far.

On July 6, 2009, Chrysler Group LLC changed its decision to discontinue the model and will continue to make the model past 2009.

I'm glad you've not had problems with your car seems many others have not been so fortunate as it often receives low scores for reliability.
 
I live with a car enthusiast - he watches things like Motor Week and visits "Left Lane News" website daily. I know he mentioned the PT Cruiser recently and I thought he said that Chrysler will stop making them....but I just asked him and he said that they were going to stop making them but Fiat (who merged with Chrysler) decided to continue making them because of the low production costs. So, I guess the answer is no - the PT Cruiser will continue to be made.
