I drive a 2001 lincoln Continental and my check engine light came on. I got the code P0442 I went to auto zone and the told me the code is Evaporative emission system. Leak/no air flow condition. this could come from a loose fuel cap. thats false because replaced the fuel cap. it also said the code could come from a vacuum leak at the engine. I was wondering could this cause my car AC not to work because it seem to just blow out hot air?
Is this the cause of why my car AC doesn't work?
