i took an 8pack of skinless chicken breasts out of the freezer last week and put them in the fridge to thaw, and only used 2 of them. i planned on using the rest the very next day, but it has now been a week! can i still use them? i'll be baking them in the oven
the chicken actually looks kind of dry and a darker pink.. it was in the bottom of the fridge where it gets near freezing.. i've taken cans of soda out of the same area that are icey

it depends on how cold your fridge is. you can usually tell by the smell. if they have even a slightly funky odor, get rid of them. chicken gets kind of slimey when its really bad. but the smell is the best test.
