is this subwoofer any good?

Depends on what you want. Its not the best. If you want it to bump hard i would go with Rockford Fosgates
 
well personaly i dnt think that 10" ralyy do anything special, yea they give you some bass. but i have 2 12" kickers and they give of so much bass that wen i smoke it evn vibrates that and keeps the smoke in place. it evn shook off my rear veiw mirror wen i turned it all the way up. so i would suggest a 12" ovr a 10"
 
depend on what your price range is, if your limit is $100 then there are good subs in that range, which could be complete trash if your limit is $200. If you want to know whats good then I suggest research, Subs can sound 10x better on some setups than others it all depends on your amp and head unit. You could have an MTX Jackhammer and without proper power or crappy setups it could be trash. If you want a beast get The HIFONICS MAXXIMUS subwoofer.
