I'm in New York and there in this man and his wife who are both from Guyanese,but their ancestors
come from East India.Both of them were speaking Hindi,and everyone knows that Guyana is the only English speaking country in northern South America.Most East Indian Guyanese can't speak Hindi,because their families came to Guyana as indentured laborers in 1838.
To me is seemed strange,because I grew up with a lot of Guyanese people,and I never heard neither one of them speak a lick of Hindi,but they watch a lot of Bollywood Indian movies and music.
By the way that old man was 90 years old and his wife is 100,and they don't even look it.I thought they were both in there early 50's which is also f*cking strange.
