Is this Stanford Summer Camp worth going to?

Im a pretty smart junior in high school (4.66 GPA 10-11 GPA, 237 PSAT) and I usually get summer camp letters in the mail from different universities. In the Summer of my freshman year I went to one of the camps and it ended up being a huge waste of money and the camp wasn't that exclusive.

Recently, though, I got a summer camp invitation from Stanford that reads "Each year Stanford University invites a limited number of talented high school students to apply to out eight-week Summer College. Our program is made up of no more than 350 emerging scholars who are eager to experience a true university environment.....Our program is very selective....Summer College students take classes with undergraduates, and receive Stanford University credit. Our students will choose from over 150 courses offered in more than 30 departments"

Does anybody know anything about this program? It is the first one I have seen that gives college credit so I'm not as skeptical. I just want to know if this is bull or legit.

Thanks!

I know someone who did it. he enjoyed it alot and decided to go there for college. But i guess it depends on the person.
