Is this sentence weird, it sounds weird to me?

It was the unusual song structure of Jesus of Suburbia that attracted me to this song, as a song to analyse for this essay.

I'm writing an essay, and it's the opening sentence. It just sounds a bit weird to me. But that could just be me, trying to procrastinate so I won't write any more essay.
