I work at Chick-fil-et. I've never been late and I've only called in sick once. I consider myself a good worker. I've been a Christian my whole life but I'm in the process of converting to Judaism (Judaism IS a process because you have to study and be approved by Rabbis to be "official"). They asked me to remove my Star of David necklace (but Christian employees can wear the cross). When I refused, they took me off the register and put me in the back. My manager is being very unfair towards me (giving me twice as much work as everyone else). She's also turned very rude (when she was very nice to me before). The assistant manager actually asked a preacher (who conducts a Bible study in the dining area every two weeks) to speak with me. I feel this an infringement upon my personal rights because I shouldn't have to explain my personal reasons for converting to anyone. It's no one's business but my own. I don't go to work bringing in a rabbi.
