Is this reasonable for a first car?

I found a beetle it's a 1999 and it's black with beige interior...very pretty but it has 90,000 miles... its like $5,000..... is that reasonable? =/ Thanks for your opinions!
Oh sorry I should've probably said I'm 16 and my dad is buying a car for me. We're looking specifically at beetles, I'm gonna show him this one when he gets home later, but I just wanted your opinions
