Is this piano Yamaha YDP140 any good? It is for my child, she is just beginning.?

Whatever you buy, it should have 88 fully weighted keys, three pedals and the least amount of extra non-piano sounds on board.

For the sake of your child, and for the ultimate re-sale value if the lessons do not 'take,' or for the later need/desire to upgrade.

best regards.

The Yamaha YDP140 is excellent.
I began on a keyboard, but I wish I had a digital piano like that one to have learned on.
I say it is going to open her musical talents and strengthen her fingers rather well.

The YDP140 (now branded as Yamaha Arius YDP140) is a very good choice because it is built into a sturdy proper cabinet and has a piano bench. It is a good choice for a home digital piano.
