Is this odd, if a male doctor giving an older virgin a pap test?

I have a dr. appt. next week with a male dr. to get a complete physical. I've had female drs. in the past, but when I got my pap smears they were rough. I'm still a virgin and would that make dr. question why I am still one at my 29? Is that weird having a male dr. give you a pap?
Well when I had female docs in the past, they asked me why was I getting paps if I'm not sexual active, but I want to know I'm healthy. I had a pancreatic tumor removed 10 years ago.

No. I don't think it is weird to have a male doctor give you a pap test, and DEFINITELY still get one even if you are a virgin! Those are very important to get just to make sure you do not have anything wrong with you. It is none of the doctror's business about why you are a virgin at your age so if he asks then you know it is time to leave and fine a new doctor. Just make sure he knows to be gentile with you and good luck!
 
You doctor won't question your choices about your sex life or lack thereof. My gynecologist is a man and he is very nice. It isn't "weird" at all.
 
Everytime I had a male doctor a female nurse would be in the same room, that's just how they do it down here, to many women claiming they were raped during a pap smear, but i am comfortable with my male Gyno..

nothing is wrong with you. and of course the question might be : why do you think you need it done ? if you take a pill to control your menstruation and you are a smoker you have to have a pap smear. because Uterus cancer is caused first by the HPV (papillomavirus, du to lot of sex or std, or 2 partner in a year or unlucky) -which is not Your case,and the second is due to the medicine and hormone that the pill contains, that does not match with nicotine, and tar from cigarettes. virgins can still have cancer, that means, they can have a pap smear done !
