is this normal with my fish tank?

well i put some sand in my tank and i noticed some foam in my tank its all purpose sand so is there anything wrong i already put my fish in i have an algea eater a fiddler crab 2 golfish a koi a peacock striped eel and a baby cray so will it hurt any of them i have a 20 gallon tank so i no its kinda crowded but its been like that for almost 1 year so they love eachother so will it hurt them i got it from wal-mart the all purpose sand and the lady new that cuz she asked me and she didnt say nothin so i think its ok theve been in the sand foam brownish water cuz not all the sand settled yet theve been in there for bout an hour so far so plz hurry!!
 
the foam is the anti caking agent that stops the sand from clumping together in the bag. what you should have done is thoroughly rinsed the sediment. this could harm you fish i recommend taking the fish out and doing a major clean. you can still use the sand leave it in a bucket of water over night. tip the water out give it one more rinse then put it in the tank.
