Is this joke not very funny?

I posted it a year ago, and no one found it funny. So, here goes....

A German visitor goes into a New York deli and asks for a cheese bagel. The owner gave it to him, and with one bite he said,
"Wow. Amazing. In my country, we don't get them as good as this!"
The owner said "Well who's fault is that?"
Wow. Is it national stupid day?
