Let's work with despair.

So I sat upon the darkness
Thoughts of emptiness and death
I start to think about the people that care,
Yet I continuously do it.
Lets face it the unresolved struggle with me
You may think thats crazy but theres no pain intended.
I can see the pain I caused.
Help me! I cut, I dont know any better. I could move on and forget about him.
 
to be brutally honest your interpretation on a free verse is just a bunch of rambling add emphasis on some words and pauses in places.

ways of life
who plays the wife,

these i didnt start
but in it learned art,

think about how i live
and h ow hard i try to give

when never known minds
determine what all finds,

some times right can be wrong
and more lovely is a song!
