is this enough watts for my alpine type r's?

kenwood 900 watt amp?and i got a 200 watt head unit for the speakers and im getting another 250 watt amp for the aftermarket speakers... and 4 guage wire. you think this will all sound good.

ive heard type r's before but witth 1000 watts. you think 100 watts will make a difference. its going in a little hyundai elantra
 
You want to match the RMS of your subs. You didn't specify which Type R's you have in terms of inches or how many. Assuming you're doing two 12 inch subs (each has a RMS rating of 300-500) you'll be fine since the total is 600-1000. Don't ever bother looking at peak ratings, at that point everything sounds distorted and you'll blow your subs. Do the same matching with your aftermarket speakers (if you have 4 and each has 75 watt RMS then a 300 watt amp etc). Hope this helps.
